For those that don’t know, one would think of San Francisco in the fall as heavy rains and blistering cold winds. However, we were pleasantly greeted with decent weather considering the rains that hit us the previous weekend. Sure it drizzled a bit and I watched as one of the groomsmen trying to stay in control as he slid down the steep wet hills in his slippery dress shoes. Despite that, the day went off without a hitch.
Amy & Kevin’s ceremony started with Taxi after Taxi rolling up dropping off all the guests in almost a red carpet like affaire in front of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The church was visually stunning and came alive with the sounds of a husband & wife team playing the violin and piano along with the vocals of a children’s choir from the balcony.
Leaving the church became a San Francisco experience as multiple Trolley Cars rolled up to shuttle everyone back to the University Club reception. Guests walked into a Tiffany’s themed reception area where the cake was a triple stack of Tiffany boxes. Now that was a delicious looking cake. A little bit of dancing, a little bit of bar lounging, and a whole lot of celebrating from the combined families made for one spectacular night.
