What do you get when you mix an Assyrian with a Mexican?  Assyrxican? Mexrian?  Nope, you get the amazingly fun couple of Bernadet & Jason on their wedding day.  The super polite Jason took the hand of the ever smiling Bernadet at the St. James Orthodox church in Milpitas.  It’s a smaller church in which they filled the place to the back and out the door.  I am sure they never saw so many people gathered in one place.  And why not, these two draw you in with their constant happiness.

After the ceremony, we took a drive out to Santana Row where we took a stroll around some of their favorite places including Sino which was the location of their first date.  Even the artist that drew a picture of them on their first date was there in the same place on their wedding day.  One fun stop was at Priscilla of Boston which was where she purchased her dress.  The people there were nice allowing us to take a few shots including one where the mannequin in the window was replaced by the real bride. All the people walking by on the streets were amazed at how beautiful of a model Bernadet was standing in the window.

The reception was out of this world.  Walking into the room, the hall was lit up with shades of blue lighting showering the outside walls and chandeliers.  Every table was topped with an amazing bouquet of flowers and the cake was like a stair case of sugary deliciousness.  My teeth hurt just looking at that cake.  Because of the multi-cultural wedding, the two planned a little flavor from each of their homelands.  A Mariachi band played at the reception area while a Persian band brought out the dancing on the dance floor.  Masood the DJ then mixed in the music for the night.
