Julia & Heath’s wedding at the Palm Event Center

Julia and Heath lived a life a world apart, her in the Ukraine and him here in the Bay Area, but were brought together through what could be considered destiny. Meeting at work, they got to know each other and found that they were meant for each other though it took some time. Friends and family asked at the wedding “what took so long” when commenting on how long it took to ask her to marry him, but like a fine wine you have to wait for the right time.
The full family ceremony and reception took place at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. Normally having a wedding mid winter can be a risk on the weather, but they landed their wedding day on a rain free day. Inside, the decor they chose had a unique purple, yellow, and lime twist which included elegant up-lighting behind the wine barrels and speckled yellow lights lit dance floor. We had a great time shooting them in and around the Palm as they have been refurbishing different areas including the Bridal room. We could have shot an entire session in this room alone.
